Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a TypingZila account or using any TypingZila service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Service Description

TypingZila provides:

• Multilingual typing lessons and practice tests
• WPM certification with verifiable digital certificates
• Multiplayer typing competitions
• AI-powered data entry marketplace (connects clients with typists)
• B2B widget for embedding typing tests on third-party sites
• Exam service for recruitment typing tests

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information at registration
• You're responsible for keeping your password secure
• One account per person — no account sharing
• You must be 13+ to create an account (18+ for marketplace typist work)

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use TypingZila for illegal purposes
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service
• Submit false typing test results (we use server-side anti-cheat — violations result in account termination)
• Spam, harass, or impersonate other users
• Use bots or automation without prior written consent
• Upload malicious files to the AI data-entry marketplace

5. Certificates

• WPM certificates are issued based on server-verified typing test results
• Certificates can be revoked if fraud is detected
• Certificate verification is public (anyone with your cert number can verify)
• We are not liable for employment decisions based on our certificates

6. Marketplace (Typists + Clients)

6.1 Typists

• Typists are independent contractors, not TypingZila employees
• Typists earn 75% of job budget; TypingZila takes 25% platform fee
• Payouts processed via UPI/bank transfer; minimum withdrawal ₹100
• Typists are responsible for their own taxes

6.2 Clients

• Clients must fund escrow before jobs are assigned to typists
• Escrow is released to typist only when client approves work (or auto-released after 7 days of no response)
• Clients can request refunds for unsatisfactory work (subject to review)

7. B2B Widget + Exam Service

• Widget clients pay monthly subscription (₹2,499-₹12,500/mo based on plan)
• Exam-service tenants pay per-candidate fees (₹10-₹50 per candidate based on volume)
• All B2B clients get 14-day money-back guarantee on first subscription
• API keys must be kept confidential — clients are liable for usage on their keys

8. Intellectual Property

• TypingZila owns the platform, lessons, and certificate system
• Users retain rights to their typing performance data
• Clients retain rights to documents uploaded to the marketplace
• TypingZila receives a perpetual license to use anonymized typing data for improving the platform

9. Limitation of Liability

• TypingZila is provided "as is" without warranties
• We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months
• We're not liable for typing-test results used for employment decisions

10. Termination

• You can delete your account anytime via /settings
• We can suspend/terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• We can terminate B2B contracts with 30 days notice
• On termination, your data is deleted within 30 days (except where law requires retention)

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are resolved in courts in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We'll notify users via email of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect.
